DIATOMITEDiatomite is a sedimentary rock, that is white and chicken incolor. It is composed of fossilized skele stacks of one-celled algae-likeplants called diatoms. The method of dredging to cut away at the sediment doesnot seem like it would be as environmentally friendly as well. Asidefrom the mining having electrical shock on the actual land, diatomite mininghas impacts on birds in touch areas. Many birds show atendency to avoid dredging areas. I like the factthat diatomite seems incredibly useful for very classical things, suchas toxic waste, antibiotics and water filtration. I also work out it isexceptional because it goes to use for so many different products. Some things that are mined can only go to a few things, whereasdiatomite can go from cleaning toxins, to paint fillers, to filteringwine, to insecticides. I dont like diatomite for the fact that it is notbeing recycled, and that no cycle programs are being put into useright now. Overall I think that diatomite is a worthwhile product andbeneficial to consumers every day.
